Orbi RBK753S RBR750 Disconnects From Internet

Hi everyone. This seems to be a prevalent issue with the Orbi's. Initially, my Orbi's were rock solid, but now on the Orbi app on my phone reports Internet Offline, then Online, then Offline, then Online.  Laptops (Windows 10, 11) work flawlessly.

I have read as many of the posts and threads, and I am concerned that the Netgear Orbi's have significant problems. I did not expect this from Netgear, never would I expect this from Netgear.

About to the ANOTHER factory reset, reset my Comcast cable modem, reconfigure everything, turn off MIMO and all of the other recommendations ... but .. nothing seems to help. It does seem to be mainly on phones and tablets that the disconnect issues occur.

My Orbi's are over a year old, so no chance for any help from Netgear and from what I am reading, Netgear is not stepping up to fix this issue. How very disappointing, especially for a marque company like Netgear.

ANY help is greatly appreciated from everyone. With all my best.

John

      Thank you for your help!

      Firmware Version: V4.6.8.2_2.1.9

      Internet Service Provider: Comcast

Cable Modem: NETGEAR Nighthawk Cable Modem with Voice (CM1150)

What is puzzling is that Windows 10/11 laptops, no issues whatsoever.

The Orbi app keeps saying Internet Online, Offline, Online, Offline

Samsung and Amazon tablets have no issues either.

Smartphones have issues using WiFi and revert to 5G.

      Thank you!

The system appears to be working perfectly.  All devices perform as desired.

Yet, the 'app' behaves erratically, reporting conditions that are obviously false.

Conclusion:  I must tinker with the fully-functioning system. - Wrong.

Correct conclusion: the 'app' does not accurately display what is going on.  Ignore the app.
