RB20 Appears Good but seems to Fail
I have an RB40 and 2 RB20s. We had some internet issues, with the ISP and after all fixed, one of the RB20s shows Backhaul as Good but every time I use something attached to that RB20, that device f...

- there's RBS (satellite) and RBR (router). There isn't an RB40/20. Is it the satellite giving you issues or the router?
- If its the satellite, that system is quite old, and you can probably fine people selling old 40/50 series orbi's for really cheap that you could by the system and just use the satellites. Plus then you have a backup router. Or you can get on of the 50 series routers with the wider backhaul and upgrade. My local book of face has them for super cheap.

- RBR 40 and RBS20 (2) - Yes, the RBS20
- If I upgrade to 50 series can I use the current Netgear Config (RBR40)? I use Access Control and have a lot of MAC addresses I would hate to manually input.
- Ok, where do I find your "book of face" page?

I've never tried a config between 2 different orbis of the same generation. its generally not recommended between different routers. You can always make a backup and give it a try. Worst you're out is some time. In term of the "book of face", just go on your local facebook market place and search for orbi. My area had a ton of them. You'll even find them on things like shopgoodwill for cheap.

Thanks, plemans! I would hope that Orbi has a way to import the .cfg. I would hate to manually rebuild but may be what needs to be done. You are right that the system is old and actually looking for one with a weatherproof satellite to get down to my driveway entrance. Any recommendations?

The only orbi outdoor satellite was the RBS50Y. It still sells for quite a bit even on the used site because of its rarity.
