Satellite Connection

Hi

I have Orbi RBR750 router & Satellite.

I want to priorities the connection to my Satellite, is there a way to connect my satellite through wired connection only. I have connected a ethernet Cat 6 cable to my Satellite but still it connects to wifi and the backhaul status shows POOR.

    The most likely suspect is the Ethernet cable.  Can you (temporarily) relocate the satellite to the same room as the router and connect them with an Ethernet cable?  If that results in a 'wired' connection, there is a good chance that "something is wrong" with the in-home wiring.

      Thanks for the reply. I have checked the cable and is working fine. Still the Satellite connects on wifi only

        If the satellite will not create a 'wired' connection when in the same room, using a short Ethernet cable, then the satellite is defective. What process was used to determine that the existing in-home wiring is "working fine"?
