Some error occurred while enabling/disabling remote management

Some error occurred while enabling/disabling remote management
When selecting to enable Remote Management on the orbi app, a message comes up saying “Some error occurred while enabling/disabling remote management”.

Anyone have any ideas?

Model: Orbi WiFi System (RBK13) AC1200FW 2.3.6.18

Note: Model Selection for Orbi WiFi System (RBK13) is not available here, so just ignore the below model.

    Hi Turky, 

     

    Can you confirm that you have enabled remote management in the admin page via web browser prior to enabling remote management on the Orbi app?

      No, I did not enabled remote management in the admin browser page.

  • Same issue here. And I have enabled remote management through the web portal and have confirmed that works through a web browser outside of my network.

    I’ve also completely reset my system, downgraded firmware, reinstalled the app, upgraded the firmware once again, still nothing worked.

    I’m getting the same error message in the orbi app.
