Thanks so much for the assist. Talk about Netgear creating a nightmare to add additional equipment after the fact if the firmware doesn't match.
The original means of trying to do it with the static IP address all initially failed. I ended up doing the following.
- Plugging it directly back into the original router.
Find it on the attached devices, take its IP address, and input
it into the browser.- It took me to the satellite's standalone Orbi webpage, where I was able to manually update the firmware
- Once all of that was done and a power cycle, it showed up as a satellite and then was able to add it to the router network finally.

The FW on the new incoming RBS may not be at same level of FW as the current existing system. All units have to be on same level of FW.
Give this a try and see if you can get the new incoming RBS to same level of FW on it:

Need a PC or laptop with a ethernet port connection and LAN cable connected to the back of the incoming RBS...
