AirPrint issues
RBR850 mesh
Ios devices IOS 26.2
Canon TS8150 printer
for a few years I have been printing from various IOS devices around my home.
over the last few weeks all of the iOS devices have been starting to fail at printing.
tried rebooting all systems.
printer works when printing from hardwired computer.
tried removing printer from WiFi and reconnecting
tried full reset of printer and reinstall WiFi
checked printer has latest firmware
any suggestions as to where to try next?

People are reluctant to speculate unless the Orbi system is running the latest firmware. For the 850 that would be v7.2.8.5, released Dec 4, 2025

The printer is connected to the Orbi only with WiFi, correct?
There might be information on an Apple user forum, such as:

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Manual firmware update to all satellites and router appears to have solved my issue (Why auto update didn’t do this I don’t know!)

Just FYI, some FW updates may not be pushed down by NG via the auto update system. If I remember right, minor updates are not put up for AU. Major updates or major FW update revisions are.
Also NG may not push new FW out to ALL at the same time. May push in small batches. Historically, NG would push to all and cause problems. NG seems to have learned from that.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
