AX4200 vs AX6000
Looking to upgrade to Orbi Wifi 6 Mesh system. Our house is about 3,000 square feet. 45-50 devices roughly. Family of 6.
I have trouble getting a good signal in my garage where I work out and like to use Apple TV, so hence why I want a mesh system.
What are the primary differences between the AX4200 and AX6000? Is it worth the roughly $150 extra for the AX6000?
Thank you!
Been using this for over a week now and performance is good. Not sure what I am missing out on by not spending the extra $200. We have 6 poeple in this house, over 40+ devices with kids streaming all the time. And my AppleTV in my garage works just fine while I work out. So what I don't know won't hurt me, I guess.
Overall, I am happy with the 4200.

Input the RBK752 and RBK852 series models in to this site and download the spec sheets for each and compare for youself:

Review the connection rates between the two, I believe mostly they are the same accept for the 2.4Ghz radio connection rate which would be different.
30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
- In addition to the 2.4GHZ difference, the 5GHZ fronthaul band is only 1200Mbps on the RBK 752 AX4200. The 5GHZ fronthaul may only be a 2X2 radio vs the 4X4 on the RBK 842/852. There are also 2 less antennnas and a slower processor on the AX4200. The important backhaul speed remains the same at 2400Mbps.It's nice that early adopters still have the highest performance WIFI 6 Orbi for now, similar to the RBK50/40/20 rollouts. Hopefully this continues.....2.4GHz (600Mbps†) + 5GHz (1200Mbps†) for WiFi devices to connect to the Internet5GHz (2400Mbps†) dedicated WiFi link for faster data connections between Orbi Router and Orbi Satellite2.4GHz (1200Mbps†) + 5GHz (2400Mbps†) for WiFi devices to connect to the Internet5GHz (2400Mbps†) dedicated WiFi link for faster data connections between Orbi Router and Orbi Satellite

Its nice to have some flexible products out there that are a bit cheaper. One doesn't always have to have the higher performer. LOL.
At leaset this gets some in to the AX realm for there needs. Thanks for posting.
