Cannot log into router through orbilogin.net or 192.168.1.1 on RBRE960

I have trying to login into my Orbi RBRE960 through the orbilogin.net and 192.168.1.1 but it will not load.  I can log into my other router using the app but when I try to switch routers the app just says device cannot be located.

Any ideas will be appreciated.  I do not want to do a hard reset.  The router and satellites all work and I am using other WiFi devices on them but just cannot log in.  I was able to log in about 1 month ago.

Ethernet connected PC and web browser fails here?

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router and satellite(s) been performed?

Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:

    Turn off and unplug modem.

    Turn off router and computers.

Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.

Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.

Turn on computers and rest of network.

Yes, I’ve already tried a full power cycle following that exact sequence modem off, router and devices off, then bringing everything back online step by step with proper wait times but the issue still persists on the Ethernet connected PC and browser. It doesn’t seem like a simple network reset problem, so I’m thinking it might be related to configuration, drivers, or a browser/network setting.

Try a different PC and broswer to see if problem continues. If it does, you may need to factory reset the system and setup from scratch.

        Follow this guide for that:

Orbi Systems Manual Factory Reset Process | NETGEAR Communities

Since you can't get into the WEB UI, Just press the reset button in back of the RBS for 15 seconds then release, then do same thing for the RBR. I would disconnect all from the RBR including the ISP modem/ONT or router that the RBR is connected too. Just have one wired PC connected to the RBR while you re-set it up.

        When was FW updated last?

Please explain more about how these two routers are connected relative to the smartphone running the Orbi app and the device attempting to access the computer with a web browser.

orbilogin.net and the IP address work only when the device requesting access is connected to the router LAN.

Provided that the Anywhere Access feature has been enabled, the Orbi 'app' can access a router no matter what network the smartphone is using.

      (either ethernet or wifi).

I suggest making sure you are connected that way, and then double-check the IP address of your PC.  It's possible the router isn't using 192.168.1.x as the subnet.

Two routers, and both connected to the same LAN and IP subnet?

"...Cannot log into router through orbilogin.net or 192.168.1.1 on RBRE960..."

A typical issue appearing to users operating multiple routers, multiple wireless networks, probably configure4d to the same SSID (wireless name) - left under the impression that it's the "same" network, while in reality it's not.

Work based on what? Because the WiFi devices can reach the Internet?
