Cannot login to router

Question

I just purchased an RBR850 that I cannot get setup. The problem lay in trying to setup the admin password for the router. Press next and no access. There is a constant white light emanating from the unit. Tried the Orbi app to no avail as well as my desktop. Any ideas?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Press the reset button for 15 seconds then release, with the RBR disconnected from the ISP modem/ONT, connect one wired PC to the back of the RBR? The front LED should blink WHITE then pulsate WHITE, after it pulsates WHITE, try to log into the RBRs web page at 192.168.1.1

Thanks Furry.I have had Orbi's on my network for years but the setup out of the box on this one had me in knots. I finally was able to proceed past the Admin account settings. Woof. I was able to get it and the sat. setup. Thanks again for your response.

Cannot mark as solved...apologies. It famously took a nap on me and then I tried to downgrade the firmware. I was successful in doing that but then the bugger upgraded to the newest firmware automatically. I removed it from my network and reinstalled my RBR50 until such time as they issue a fix in a future firmware update.
