challenge under 750 under AP mode

seek support here about AP mode.

I really like the router mode of my 753 package. Now as I want to upgrade my router to 2.5G, I need use a new router to do the network dialing and DHCP and put my RBR750 as AP mode. Under the AP mode, the wifi speed is really slow and even under wired connection, my PC could only very slowly to access netgear admin page.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated for the AP mode.

An interesting situation. With the RBR750 WAN port limited to 1GB, no devices connected to the 750 system will get any benefit from the increase in ISP connection speed unless some devices are moved from the 750 to the new router.  If those devices require only internet access (and not communication with devices still attached to the 750 system) then there could be an overall improvement in performance.  Otherwise, that additional 1.5GB has "no place to go".

Another solution would have been to replace the RBR750 router with an RBR840 or RBR850 router. Both of those have WAN ports capable of 2.5GB

Will the 750 system remain the only WiFi network in the house, or will the WiFi capabilities of the new router be enabled?

Does 5Ghz or ethernet show same issue?

What FW version is loaded on the system?

What brand and model# host router is the RBR connected too?

Make sure the RBR is connected to the host router using the RBRs WAN port to a open LAN port on the host router.

How is the RBR configured for AP mode? Dynamic or Static IP address configuration?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

What wireless device are you using?
