Connect iot devices
Hello. I would like to know how to make my iot device (LaCrosse weather station) connect to the iot network that I have set up in my RBR850 router ? The device is already connected to the wifi but now I'd like to move it specifically to the iot network. Thank you, have a nice day
Be sure the RBR has updated FW that has this feature in it. Any FW prior to v7.x does not.

What is the model number??? Then we can look at the manual.
There is hack you can use. Change the name of your main wifi to something else; then rename the IoT network to match the original main network name (and set the password to match the original main network password). Of course you'll need to change the wifi config on all your other clients, so this is rather tedious.

Looks like you have to use their app to change the wifi connection - the guides don't give details.

Thank you for the answear, but I already enabled IoT network in my router. The question was: now, that I have this network enabled, how do I make the IoT device that I want to connect to Wifi to use this specific IoT network and not the usual 2.4 GHz network ? How do I make a specific device to use a specific network in my router ?

You'll need to do that on the device your trying to get connected to the IoT network. I presume there is a setup or connection process with that device to get it to connect to a wifi SSID name. Just need to have it list available SSID names and select the IoT network you setup.
Contact the Mfr of this device for additional help and support information regarding it.
