connecting a orbi satellite to anther netgear modem

hi l have a orbi rbr750 l would like to know if you can connect the satellite to another netgear modem and how to do this can someone help with this please

      Thanks for answering my question not what l wanted but l have to work something else out then

       

      • NGs EX and EAX series wifi extenders are compatible with branded and non branded NG wifi routers.

      yes thats right l am not explaining well 

      my sats are used wirelessly at the moment but can l hard wire them which would go back to the modem then l would wirelessly connect to them with the tvs phone sonos is this possible

       

  • What sort of Modem?  I used to use a Netgear Cable/VOIP Modem (certified for Xfinity) and had my Orbi working with that no problem.

     

     FWIW, the Orbi is a Router, not a Modem.  I reckon if your Modem also has a built-in Switch, you could hang all the Orbi gear, routers and sats, off it.

     

    Maybe provide a little more information on what you are trying to do.

      okay l have an Orbi RBR750 an 3 satellites can l use the l am using the router hard wired and l want to know my bedrooms have ethernet ports in the wall can l use the sats wired thru the wall and then connect the tvs wirelessly

      sorry not savvy on this really
