Connection drops and issues

I have a Netgear Orbi rbr350 setup for my home use. I have it connected to through Sky broadband (UK), and as I also have Sky Q mini boxes so I can't use my sky router in a bridge mode as they don't work with it in a bridge mode. I have had my orbi for around 5 months, and other than the first week after it was setup, it has run perfectly for me running a satellite in my shed for my PC to use via ethernet.

My shed is about 20 metres from the orbi router, so it should be within range to work okay and as previously mentioned worked brilliantly for the vast majority of the time I have had it. However, over the past 2 weeks I have had consistent issues with slow speeds or no connection from the router to the satellite in my shed. In the house near the router the signal is fine however in the shed consistently multiple times a day I go through periods of 20 minutes to multiple hours of no signal or ridiculously slow speeds with seemingly really high jitter or packet loss. Nothing new has been added to the router or system, no new devices nothing blocking the router etc. I have removed the other satellite in the house in case it was causing interference (it was relatively close to the router and not really needed anyway) however I am still having issues.

As far as I can tell it's gone from working completely fine to not working at all with no change that should effect it

This person seems to think Sky Q Mini boxes can be connected to networks besides Sky Q:

(Confession: my expertise with Sky broadband is zero.)

20 meters will not deliver the strongest WiFi connection.  Typical recommendations are to look for a suitable location about 10 meters from the router.  But, if it worked for months, then that's great.

And that may be the issue.  What could have changed that you are not aware of?  Perhaps a neighbor installed new WiFi gear?  Perhaps Sky changed the frequency used to connect their Q Mini boxes to the main router?  According to the user manual, the RBR350 dual band system uses channel 108 (in Europe &  Japan) for both user facing and router to satellite WiFi links. It appears that Sky uses channel 36, so there should be no interference.  Is this still the case for your installation?

Intermittent issues are the very devil to troubleshoot.

My RBR350 uses channels 3 and 108, 108 seemingly being the one I currently use for the satellite I am having issues with, and according to the orbi app's WiFi analytics there are no other signals it can find using the same channels, so it shouldn't be interference, and also I doubt it is Sky as the main Orbi router has 0 issues and has complete connectivity. We have moved the orbi router closer by a few metres although so far it has not fixed the issue. It doesn't seem like it's interference issues so I don't know what to rule it down to

        How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
