Ethernet Backhaul - Connected Orbi Issue

I have an RBK753 system. With a router and 3 satellites. The satellites are connected via ethernet backhaul to a switch along with the router.

I have noticed that usually the 3 satellites show the router as the "connected orbi". But sometimes they connect differently and connect to each other. See the schematic from the app attached. Usually, they all the satellites show a solid line to the router. But on this one it shows that the router is connected to the "front bedroom" then the other 2 satellites are connected to this.

Is this an issue/problem?

When I restart the satellites/router it will show as all of the satellites connecting to the router?

Thanks

Akhil

      Hi,

      Thanks for your reply

      RBR 750 - firmware - 4.6.5.14
      RBS 750 - firmware - 4.6.5.14

ISP modem - open reach g fast modem model MT992

Switch - TP-Link TL-SG108S, 8 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch

The modem is plugged into the routers wan port. One of the lan ports is connected to the switch. Then all of the satellites connect to the switch.

      All CAT5 cable.

      Thanks

Seen others with this brand having problematic issues with Orbi systems. Has Green ethernet features that can cause problems:
        • Green Ethernet technology saves power consumption

The modem is plugged into the routers wan port. One of the lan ports is connected to the switch. Then all of the satellites connect to the switch.

All CAT5 cable. < Cat6 LAN cables are recommended at minimum.
