I have an RBK753 system. With a router and 3 satellites. The satellites are connected via ethernet backhaul to a switch along with the router. I have noticed that usually the 3 satellites show the router as the "connected orbi". But sometimes they connect differently and connect to each other. See the schematic from the app attached. Usually, they all the satellites show a solid line to the router. But on this one it shows that the router is connected to the "front bedroom" then the other 2 satellites are connected to this.Is this an issue/problem? When I restart the satellites/router it will show as all of the satellites connecting to the router? ThanksAkhil

NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series switches work for Orbi systems.

I have TP-Link and other brands of switches 'behind' both the router and a satellite with no ill effects. It is only the router to satellite link that appears to incompatible.

IF you can disable IGMP protocols on that switch, give it a try. Yes, IGMP on managed switches has been known to cause problems with Orbi systems. Older versions of switches did not support 802.3az. Some newer versions work with Orbi as mentioned in the list I posted.

FWIW I have the Netgear GS-348 48-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch, and it has worked perfectly with Orbi RBS850/RBR850.

    Seen others with this brand having problematic issues with Orbi systems. Has Green ethernet features that can cause problems:
