Guest network on Orbi RBR750
Hey! I'm hoping someone can help me. I've tried calling support twice and have either been hung up on or lost the connection...but twice seems unlikely.
Anyway, I just installed a new Orbi RBR750 and after much struggle I figured out I needed to install using the assigned name and password. When I first installed it (internet didn't connect) the local network was doing well but it didn't connect to the wifi on the modem. When I had it set up the first time I could see the guest network. Now I can't see it all on any of my devices. Nor can my friend who came over yesterday.
I've scoured many discussions and googled for a fix along with the two calls but I can seem to find the solution.
Any ideas?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?Have you enabled Guest Network on the RBRs web page and set a Custom SSID name to easily identify it on wifi devices?

Hey! I did what the link said and I changed the name of the guest network and now I can see it. What an easy fix after two hours of searching. Thank you!!
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
