Help setting up Network shared drive RBR750 Windows 10 through a PC
I bought an Orbi RBR750 mesh system from Costco a couple of years ago. I really like it.
I have a HDD that I use for computer back ups that is USB connected to my PC. I would like to have this drive accessible by my laptops so I can do auto backups from them wirelessly to my back up HDD. My desktop computer hooked up to the ORBI switch.
I cannot figure out how to make my backup drive wirelessly viewable by laptops. Can you please provide instructions that can be followed by a 5 year old on how to have an external drive connected to my desk top PC wirelessly accessible by window and mac laptops so I can make auto backups.
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. This issue is with Windows 10. I guess that this is a problem experienced by a lot of people. I tried all of the fixes that were suggested on the internet with no solution found.
I will ping the MS community.
Thanks again for your help.

Something to contact MS about and ask them about configuration of Windows 10 since that's there product.
Do a search online as well for how to setup network shared folders and drives in Windows 10. - CrimpOnGuru - Experienced User
Would you mind sharing the specifics of the drive that is connected to the 750 system?
How does this drive appear in the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net ) Attached Devices or the Orbi 'app' Device Manager?
Is the desktop computer a PC or Mac?

Howdy,
I have my PC connected via CAT cable to the Orbi Router on the RBR 750.
The web interface states that it recognizes my PC motherboard. The back up drive is connected to my mother board via a USB2 cable.
