HP Printer cannot connect to ORBI RBK353 satellite
Hi there,
I'm facing an issue with my Orbi RBK353: HP printer LaserJet Pro MFP M28w can connect to router but not to satellites. I have tried both satellites: one is connected in wifi to the router the other one by ethernet. On the router printer gets an IP address and can print without any problem. When near a satellite printer wifi keeps blinking meaning it cannot connect.
Router is configured in Access Point mode. I tried disabling AX mode for the 2.4Ghz band as suggested here for other models: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/HP-Printer-Not-Connecting-Via-Satelite/m-p/2182920 but that does not work. Any idea?
Thanks!
Suggestions:
- PLease try to pair the printer with the satellite using WPS setting. Activate WPS connect in the printer https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-m14-m17-printer-series/16647043/model/16647063/document/ish_4641127-4645964-16 and press the Sync button on the RBS350.
- Please try to reserve IP address for the printer in the main router. Orbi is in AP mode as you mentioned, so the main router must be the ISP's.
