Does your laptop of an intel wireless card? If so, go to the intel site and update the driver on it. The device manufacturers (sony, lenovo, etc) aren't good at doing the update so you have go directly to whoever makes the part.

intel cards had issues with earlier drivers not being able to see ax. Try updating it.

As said previously, this is typically an issue with an outdated driver.

What is the model# of the wireless adapter card?

Do other wifi devices work while AX mode is enabled?

    Any progress on this?

Ensure WiFi adapter drivers are up to date on the laptop...
