Losing Wi-Fi internet connection on rbr850 system
I have the rbr850 system. I lose the WiFi internet connection on bot units router and satellite several times per week. All direct wired connections to the router continues to have an internet connection. I have to reboot the router to get Wi-Fi internet connection to work again.
My firmware is v3.2.15.32. On both units.
Any thoughts on what to do?

Any thoughts on what to do?We need a little more information to narrow this down. I am not aware of an issue where the wired connectivity is there but the wireless connectivity is broken. However, we do not know if your wireless devices that lose connection are connected to the router (which is working because the wired devices to it have internet) or to one of your satellites.
Do you have any wired devices to your satellites that have or have not lost connection at the same time as your wireless devices? Alternatively, when your wireless devices lose connectivity if you power off your satellites then do they regain connectivity again? This information will tell us if the problem is in the router's wireless or if it is an entire satellite losing connectivity.
BTW I have a similar problem with one of my satellites losing connectivity, causiing behavior like you describe (wireless devices to that satellite lose internet but other devices are just fine): https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-AX/RBS850-satellites-lose-internet-and-gateway-connectivity-several/m-p/1952486#M5573
I upgraded to the newly-released V3.2.16.6_1.4.4 firmware yesterday and things are working so far (I need a few days of non-interruption before declaring it solved). Therefore I recommend you at least upgrade to V3.2.16.6_1.4.4 and see if that helps you. I don't yet see it on the downloads page so you'll have to wait until your orbilogin.com admin website offers it to you for automatic upgrade.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-routerWhat channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Any thoughts on what to do?- I have a duplex so the touter is in my unit and the satellite is in my tenets. The sq ft is about 900 rack. Based on direct distance between the two units would be about 30 ft.
I had problems when setting up the satellite and router I usually like to change my channels to try and get the best. Well I was still in warranty and was on the phone for hours trying to get the satellite to connect. The rep changes all mr settings back so he said thaet where needed like they were set. 2.4 is set at auto and 5 is set at 48.
Also I live on a small island and there are houses and condos etc all over. I probably get a minimum of 6-8 WiFi networks I can join.
I hope this all helps.- thsiaoAspirantI have this same issue except my hard wired connections are also lost when this happens. So frustrating.
