Need to label my Satellites (RBR850) but cannot see an obvious way to do that -Advice Very Welcome

Evening all. Have a 4 sat system. Works nicely in the main but I cannot identify each Sat. I made the mistake of leaving them as standard naming.

Is there an easy way to identify each one such that I can amend the name to Orbi Kitchen, Orbi Shed etc.

Also is there an easy way to identify if a device is connecting through a specified satellite? I have a problematic third party device that has a need to talk on 2.4 Ghz and we need to be sure which Orbi Sat it is talking to.

Appreciate any advice how to achieve that please.

That should work.  It will not happen instantly.  It may take 10 minutes (or more) for the status display to change.

  • Type the name you want into the box where it says Satellite-2.

    • 😀..... even as a rank amateur I'd worked that much out CrimpOn (joke) but no sorry I think maybe I explained poorly in the original post.

What I meant was, of the 4 Orbi Sats, how can I tell (for example) where the unit called Sat-2 actually is .... i.e which physical room location? I know how to amend the device heading but not how to know where Sat-2 is.

I'm thinking a little like a Philips Hue bulb were you can press a button in the app and the light flashes up, physically showing the whereabouts of the device. I need try do the same with each sat.
