New Xfinity 1200mbps service with Motorola MB8611 Modem - Only Getting 650mbps in ORbi app on RBR750
Xfinity technician visited today and confirmed that he is seeing 1300mbps coming in.
Factory reset since then and still getting the same result.
2.4ghz set to port 11
5ghz - port 48
20/40mhz coexisitence checked
WMM enabled for 2.4 and 5 ghz with cts/rts set to 2347 on both and preamble set to short
IPv6 disabled
Traffic Meter disabled
Firmware V4.6.3.7_2.0.49
Any suggestions on how to get speed up to gigbit? Thanks in advance!!
There currently is a known problem with the onboard speed test app showing inaccurate speed results. NG is aware of tihs.
Use a external speedtest app like ooklas installable speed test app on a wired PC. You should see near 900mpbs on the wire.
Your iphone speeds are to spec for that device.

A couple things.
1. you won't hit gigabit speeds over wireless.
2. the built in speedtest isn't accurate over 400-500mbps because it rarely chooses the fastest server. so try hardwiring in a pc/laptop and testing the speeds.
3. You're posting in the pro-gamer forum (xr300/xr450/xr500/xr700/xr1000) and not the orbi AX forum. If there's issues, you'd have better luck in the proper forum.
Orbi is connected to modem with cat6 cable.
To clarify the speed I am seeing is from the Orbi app, testing speed from router to modem to internet. How do I get this to show the actual speed coming in at the cable, which is 1200+ according to the Xfinity technicians test.Incidentally testing from my iphone 11 over Wi-Fi shows 650-750mbps download and 40+ upload.
