Orbi 750 Series AX3000 Mesh Wi-Fi Router with 2 Satellites. Satellite not connecting

New to this product and learning every day. But I have one satellite that was connected but now doesn’t want to. Any suggestions to fix this? I’ve recycled the power and all.

  • Was this satellite connected for  some time? (weeks or months?) and devices connected to the satellite and worked?

Since satellites are portable, it might be useful to temporarily relocate the satellite to the same room as the router and see if it connects in that location.

If the Orbi web interface Attached Devices display shows the satellite as "Disconnected", it might be possible to Delete the satellite, then use the bottom menu item, Add Orbi Satellite, to connect it again.

Or, while it is in the same room, you can connect it to one of the router LAN ports and see if that makes it connect.

  • What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

Swap RBS locations or turn OFF the other RBS to see if you can get the other RBS to connect?
