Orbi-752 does not auto renew WAN IP after lost connection
Hi,
I have a new Orbi-752 which is connected to CenturyLink fiber (no PPPoE) using DHCP. It seems that every so often CenturyLink WAN IP needs to get renewed and I lose internet connection. The only way I can recover is by releasing the WAN IP and renew in the router. Is there a way to make the Orbi router renew the IP when a connection is lost ? meaning try to auto-reconnect and obtain the IP from the ISP (CenturyLink).
Current firmware: V4.6.3.16_2.0.51
Thanks

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Ensure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and RBR. CAT6 is recommended.
I have the NG router connected directly to the Modem/ONT with a cat 6, 1 foot length cable. I tried different cables same result.
The Modem/ONT:
Calix GigaPoint
Model: 100-04255 10
ThanksDoes anyone have any suggestions ?
The pattern that I am observing is that when the public IP lease renews, the Orbi Router does not refresh which causes the lost of internet.
Maybe a bug in the firmware ?
