Orbi 850 main network connection issue
I can see both the main and guest ssid when I tried to search for wifi connection.
when I tried to connect to the main network, it connects for 1 to 2 seconds and the drops out.
connection to guest network is working.
this issue happens almost once a month and the only solution that works for me is to do a factory reset everytime.
just wanted to check if anyone has similar issue and how do they solve it?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. What wireless devices are you connecting to the system? Brand and model# please
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Try disabling the following and see:

Firmware is 7.2.7.15
My current set up is: NBN - TPLink Archer router - Orbi 850.
The TPLink has not connection issues.
There are about 70 Devices connected to the Orbi Router. A mixture of IOTs(On separate SSID), a couple of Apple and android devices.
only 1 RBS
house is 2 storey with a total of about 3000 sq foot
these are already disbled

i dont think it has to do with the channel.. Im thinking more about the mac address that you’ve mentioned.
All devices that connects to the main network lost connection. Or cannot connect. All devices using the guest SSID (different subnet) works fine
I think when the mac address change it somehow creates a conflict causing the router to reject connections to the main network.

See what happens if you disable Mac Address randomizers on those devices that have this feature.

and the drops out
Please describe this in more detail. i.e. "what happens?"
- The WiFi device displays an error message?
- Applications on the WiFi device fail to work correctly?
- It happens to every device connected to the system with WiFi?

basically all devices connected to the main ssid, lost it’s connection. It dropped. When I tried to reconnect, it will show the wifi signal for a few seconds and then disconnects. This happens to all devices that were connected to the main network. Somehow the guest network is not affected.
the only way that I resolve the issue is by doing a factory reset. Unplugging both the router and satellite for 15 min doesnt work
