Orbi 960 system dropps 2.4Ghz devices frequently

I have an Orbi960 system that constantly drops certain 2.4Ghz devices frequently (~1 time a week) until rebooting the whole system (these include Level lock connect wifi devices, Awair air quality sensors,  tempest wifi connector, Ecobee thermostats).  firmware updates haven't seemed to matter.

anyone else had this experience and what to do to solve it?

  • It would be useful to confirm:

    • How the 'drop' is detected?
      • Do the devices disappear from the list of Attached Devices (web interface) or from the Orbi 'app' Device Manager?
      • Do the apps interfacing with those devices complain about not being able to connect?
    • Are these devices assigned network IP addresses (in the web Advanced Menu, LAN Setup)?
    • Do these devices appear in the Orbi log file as renewing their network addresses (with DHCP) approximately every 12 hours?

    Thanks

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
    How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?

What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Distanced between the RBR/RBS and these 2.4Ghz devices?

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?

Does this happend with the devices connected to the separate IoT network?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
