Orbi not passing traffic
I have an orbi 3 node RBR850 setup but also have a managed switch that links into the the orbi devices. I can connecto the the switch via the web interface however I have a tool that uses SNMP and connect connect to the switch when on wifi however if I plug my computer into the switch that scan works.
I dont see anywhere the wifi is block the snmp scan from the device....
I am missing somthing? I am not trying to use SNMP for the Orbi devices just connect via SNMP to a TP Link switch.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?

Try a non managed switch.
Orbi in general, certainly all "legacy" Orbi 802.11ac, Orbi AX, and Orbi Pro relay on STP. In connection combinations of managed switches with Orbi, there is no other choice than using the (off-standard!) legacy STP and define a prio aka ID of 32768 on switches supporting STP/RSTP/MST.
What happens is that the Orbi STP - core part of the Orbi design - does override the (undoubted technically better) Gigabit Ethernet backhaul so the switch will close the port to avoid a loop.
Relevant is the information that STP and RSTP is valid for the complete network layout, and isn't restricted to a VLAN like the much more advanced MST (requiring more know-how to configure) and offering RSTP at the edge. Said that - Orbi == STP only.
kinda confused by some of the responses..... I dont have any network flow problems... All my devices are just find to incude my managed switch. I have a utliity that is trying to connect to my managed switch via SNMP and it never seems to connect. I was just looking to see if orbi is block the SNMP connect from a wifi device to the switch management port. I have no problem connecting to the port on 443/80 etc

Have no Orbi AX system at hand for a test. of course it should not randomly block neither SNMP nor any other traffic.
Worth checking the switch SNMP config for the allowed SNMP management station address and subnet - well possible your computer does get a different IP address on Ethernet vs. WLAN.
I don't believe Orbi systems offer any kind of SNMP features.

I wonder if HomeUserguy was able to resolve the issue and able to gain SNMP access through the Orbi system or if there is really an unwanted filter on port 161/UDP for SNMP polling the TP Link switch.
