Orbi quad Rbke963 satellite no power when plugged in.

Question

I have an Orbi Quad-Band WiFi6E Mesh System (RBKE963).

‘One of my satellites no longer has power when it is plugged into the adapter power supply plug (oem). I have tried different outlets, jiggling the connection cable, & reset with a paper clip with no success. I’ve only had it for a little over a year now.. Does anyone have any advice or comments.

Hi, Thanks so much for your feedback. I was wondering if it was something like the jack.port. &nbsp;The outer unit cosmetically is in pristine condition, so it’s extremely difficult for me to just scrap it. How did you open it up? I haven’t really looked at it, and no posts on YouTube repair reference. Thanks&nbsp;

The most obvious step is to swap the power adapter for a power adapter from the other satellite.
If that works correctly, then the power adapter must be faulty.
If the other adapter does not work, then there is probably a problem with the satellite.

Hi,Thanks for your reply. I have already tried the other satellite power cord, and still nothing. Do you know if they just die like this? Should I just replace it?&nbsp;thanks&nbsp;

"just over a year" really sucks, since the hardware warranty is one year.&nbsp; I would first appeal to Netgear, "Hey guys.&nbsp; This is unreal. Please give me a break here."&nbsp; Otherwise, you are truly screwed.

p.s. My RBR50 is still going strong after almost 8 years,so no, I do not think this is typical for Netgear products.

Yes. a little frustrated about it. I will try to find a more direct approach to communicating with customer support. I have been lead to a dead end 3 times already once they see the warranty expired last month.&nbsp;Thanks again for your helpful feedback tonight.&nbsp;
