Orbi rb750 not detecting rbs750 satellite
I've had this orbi mesh (router and two satellites) system for close to two years now. For the most part everything seemed to work ok. About two weeks ago, I noticed that one of my satellites was not connected. I did the basic unplug router and satellite and plug back in, and the problem satellite reconnected. A few days later I noticed it was disconnected again. This time, the unplugging option wasn't working. I tried to resync the two devices but only got a magenta light on the satellite. I updated the router and good satellite to the newest firmware and tried everything again with no success.
As a last resort, I removed the problem satellite from the orbi system through the web portal, and reset the satellite (holding down reset until I got an orange power status light). Ive tried a few times to "add new satellite" through both the android app and web portal and it cannot locate the satellite. The satellite just blinks white (currently going on about an hour). It is currently positioned about 10 feet from the router. Any suggestions? If the satellite is defective, would the rbs760 satellite be compatible with my rb750 router? The 760 satellite is available on Amazon.

try hardwiring it into the router and re-syncing it
- The router has v4.6.14.3 and so does the working satellite. The other satellite isn't visible, especially since I removed it prepared to setup fresh. It was on 4.6.9.xx.
Might downgrade the RBR back to 4.6.9.xx temporarily long though to see if the non working RBS will sync and connect. If it does, upgrade to v.3 then afterwards upgrade the RBR back to v.3 as well.
- I just did that with no success assuming the process is the same as syncing when it's wireless.
What FW version do you have loaded on the RBR and if you can see, RBS?

There doesn't seem to be an exact timing to this once it did it around 10 seconds and the next time was well over a minute.
