Orbi rbk 353 2.4 GHZ connection issue
Hi,
I’m using a sky router and have 2 Satellites.
In a remote location all my 2.4 GHZ devices stop connecting. They work during initial setup and then they all lose connection. I’ve tried the main router in the same location and everything seems ok. It’s only an issue with the Satellites.
Any ideas ?

Hi,
Had the same issue, could solve it by changing these settings:
Advanced - Advanced settings - Wireless settings:
2.4GHz:
- Uncheck the 20/40 Mhz coexistance
- Preambule modus : Long
Also see this thread:
Good luck!

What is the "sky router" you're using?
the satellites work fine on 5ghz?
Did you try changing the 2.4ghz channel in case there's interference?

hi sorry for not responding earlier.
let me provide more details
- I have a sky router and I use only AP mode for the orbi.
- The satellite is connected via back haul and I have no issue with internet and 5GHZ wifi connected deviced.
however 2.4 GHZ won't connect initially or if it does connect then it just drops connection after a few hours I have tried changing channel and the same issues persist.
Please note this is across several 2.4GHZ devices.

- BiggieBigAspirantWow thanks for this I tried this and it’s been stable for a Week.
Many thanks as I was almost in the process of looking for alternatives.Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
