Orbi RBR840 / RBS840 Wired connection
The big picture question is that my RBS840 satellites seem to be connecting to the RBR840 using wireless connections instead of a wired connection, and I'm looking for a way to ensure the wired connection is used for performance. This is a brand new system that was just installed two weeks ago. It's connected to a comcast cable internet connection.
I have a new system setup for my consisting of:
- RBR840 V3.2.18.1
- RBS840 V3.2.18.1 named KitchenOrbi showing connection type 5G / Backhaul status POOR
- RBS840 V3.2.18.1 named BonusRoomOrbi showing connection type 2.4G / Backhaul status POOR
The satellites have a WIRED connection to the RBR840 via whole home wiring. The ethernet ports are known to be working because I can plug my laptop directly to these ports and obtain an internet connection with wifi turned off for the direct laptop connection test.
The network map is shown in the attachment. I've obviously restarted all devices.
Any thoughts on how I can get the wired connections to be working?
Thank you for any suggestions.

The proper terminology for the satellite connections back to the router is called backhaul. It can be either by Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
It would be good to start in the manual you can download from the Downloads section above. Use your model number from your base router. Look somewhere around page 90.
If you look at what the lines mean, a solid line means ethernet connection and a dashed line is wifi connection. (for the lines between them)

Try logging in through the browser to see whats being shown. Tends to be a little more accurate.
Are they working ok?
Hows speeds when tested on the satellites?
Is there a switch in between the router/satellites? If so, what one
