Orbi RBR860 Mesh System

Question

Hi all,&nbsp;Looking for help with a problem with my RBR860 mesh system. I have 1 x RBR860 router with 2 x RBS860 satellites connected via ethernet backhaul that have been operating fine for the past 1.5 years.&nbsp;This week I discovered the following:- no devices connected to satellites- satellite backhaul status out of sync- no firmware version showing for satellites&nbsp;I have removed both of the satellites from the setup and am now having no end of trouble trying to reconnect them. I have tried resetting, syncing and many other support options but am unable to get the satellites reconnected. I continue to get satellite not found error message. The router is still working fine and broadcasting a wifi signal that devices can connect to.&nbsp;To date Netgear support has not been able to resolve. Please post any thoughts and suggestions on how I may be able to resolve.&nbsp;Thanks in advance 😁

Is your ethernet backhaul running through a switch or directly off the router?&nbsp;
I've never had the mesh system fail to sync with an ethernet backhaul so long as they're on the same firmware as the router.&nbsp;
have you compared the router vs satellite firmware?

Thanks for your reply.&nbsp;Backhaul is straight off the router.I have included an image that shows my Orbi dashboard and that the satellites are not connected in the attached devices.This is the issue I am having - I cannot get them the reconnect after removing them so can't even check the firmware version for the satellites. The router firmware is the most current version.&nbsp;Any other suggestions please?

are you able to factory reset the satellites and then manually resync them?

Thanks for posting that screen shot.&nbsp; Since it does not display any satellites (not even 'Disconnected'), I would use the menu item Add Orbi Satellite to add them.&nbsp; Keep them in the same room as the router until they either get added or fail to do so.&nbsp; No point in dashing around the house until this is established.

Thanks for your reply.&nbsp;I have reset using the button near the power device until it turns amber and then allowing the Satellite to power up.&nbsp;Once the Satellite light turns solid white I have then tried to sync by pressing the sync button on the Satellite and then the router.&nbsp;Using the app I get an error message "Satellite not found" and using the dashboard version on a PC I get a "Satellite sync error"&nbsp;Any suggestions?&nbsp;
