ORBI RBS850 Satellite restarts several times a day
Hi,
I'm using a RBK853 kit, upgraded to V3.2.16.6_1.4.4 version for all parts.
RBR850 is configured in AP mode, both RBS850 satellites and RBR850 router are in DHCP mode.
One RBS850 satellite of the kit is restarting mutiple time a day according to its system uptime.
The router RBR850 and the second RBS850 are also restarting autonomously from time to time but not as often as the other one.
Up to now I was not able to catch the RBS850 restart in its debug log and I was wondering how I'm supposed to proceed to get one:
When I retrieve the capture, it starts at the restart and lacks the reset itself.
Could I see the restart in the RBR850 logs to investigate what is going on?
For the technical settings on RBR850:
Region : Europe
No 20/40 MHz coexistence
WMM activated on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz
RTS 2347 on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz
Automatic preamble for 2.4GHz and short one 5GHz

Hello
I forgot to post a follow-up.
After redoing the same test with the netgear support, RMA was granted and the faulty RBS was replaced a dozen of days ago.
So far, it works like a charm.
Many thanks to FURRYe38

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Are you using a Dynamic or Static IP address configuration on the RBR in AP mode?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back on been performed since last update?

Hi,
Router is my ISP one : Sagem Livebox 3 Pro for Orange France ISP.
RBR850 gets its fixed IP from DHCP (mandatory for Livebox DNS activation), same for the 2 satellites.
No more than a dozen of Wifi network nearby.
None with more than -70dBm SNR under wifi analyzer when Orbi's one are over -44dBM (I'm in a separate House).
Between 2 restarts, wireless / wired connection through the RBS850 is reliable which does not seems to indicate an interference issue.
The RBS850 which restarts often has been power-off for more than a days without change in its behavior.
The RBR850 and the second RBS850 were not powered-off more than the time they need to restart.
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
I presume any wiif radios on the ISP modem are turned OFF fully?
