Random wifi drops on RBR760 (AX5400)
Hi,
I keep having wifi drops (sometimes with purple light, sometimes without) on my RBx760 set.
- RBR760 v6.3.8.5
- 2 satellites RBS760 v6.3.8.5
a) Router - KPN Experiabox 10 connected to yellow port RBR760. No wifi on KPN router
b) RBR 760 in AP mode, Wifi 2.4 and 5 on fixed channels, ground level
c) RBS wired connected to RBR760, on level 1 and 2
d) other wired connections directly on the KPN router, including multiple Netgear switches (GS105Ev2 and GS308e). For my tv, imgp snooping must be enabled in those routers.
So, all wireless should go via NG in AP mode, all wired via ISP router (KPN).
Often an randomly the interned via ISP is still there, but I lose SSID and wifi and takes minute(s) to return.
Done allready:
- multiple reboots and reinstall.
- RBS connected to directly to RBS, instead of also in router
- Removed both satellites, only RBR.
- Changed wifi channels
Any suggestions?

When the PINK LED comes on, is it only the RBR or do the RBS do same thing?
https://kb.netgear.com/31030/What-do-the-LEDs-on-my-Orbi-mean
PINK usually means the RBR is not getting a good signal from the host router.
How do you have the RBR configured for AP mode? Dynamic IP address or Static IP address on the RBR?
Are the RBS wireless or ethernet connected to the RBR?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

When the PINK LED comes on, is it only the RBR or do the RBS do same thing? Most of the time a drop has NO color in RBR or RBS. Sometimes WHITE on RBS. Sometimes WHITE on RBR.
PINK usually means the RBR is not getting a good signal from the host router.
How do you have the RBR configured for AP mode? Dynamic IP address or Static IP address on the RBR? It is in AP mode, my ISP router I assigned a dedicated static IP for the RBR.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? 50 m2 (ground) + 40m2 level 1 + 40 m2 level 2 = 130 m2 (=1400 f2)

It is in AP mode, my ISP router I assigned a dedicated static IP for the RBR.Is this an IP address reservation on the host router? Do you have the RBR set for Dynamic IP address configuration for the AP mode menu or Static IP address? Static IP address is set ON a device, IP address reservation is set on the host router for a device.

Are the RBS directly connected to the back of the RBR or is there a LAN switch in between? What kind of CAT# cables are being used here? CAT6 UTP is recommended.

Does this issue happen if you let the RBS wirelessly connect to the RBR?
