RBK753 Dropping connections and devices reconnecting
Dear Forum Members,
I'm using the RBK753 setup for over a year now. Since last summer my devices are losing connection regulary (3x per hour during business meetings). It is quite hampering me in doing my job.
Current setup:
- Ground floor: Router + Satelite (wireless)
- 1st Floor: Satelite (wired to router)
- 2nd Floor/Office: Satelite (wired to 1st floor satelite - daisy setup)
Things i've tried/done
- I've installed the lates updates and rebooted several times.
- I've disabled 2.4 Ghz to stop overlap in network as much as possible.
- Scanfor network interverance of neighbours (not the case)
- Installed extra satelite on 2nd floor and wired it
Does anyone know how to fix this? I've spent more than 1000 euro on Orbi and am unable to do a proper Teams meeting... a bit dissapointed. I would love to have more control over where devices connect to...
Maybe I have too much Orbi points too close to eachother?
Thanks a lot!! Steven

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Turned off AX for 2.4
CTS set to 2347
Domain Name Server (DNS) Address - Use These DNS Servers
and set all devices to have Reserved IP addressesWhat is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
You may need to factory reset the system and power the system OFF as well.

Thank you for the reply!
What do you mean with the DNS suggestion?
I've done the other recommendations and will report back after a few days.
When they don't work I will proceed with the factory reset.
Cheers Steven
Input other DNS services other than you ISPs. Cloudfare or Google or Quad 9 DNS addresses

This is a KNOWN issue with the firmware. I don't know why Fury is wasting your time with those questions. Its not your side, its the firmware.
There are dozens of other complaints on the chat board. Don't waste your time troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting still needs to be done and offered regardless. Not everyone has problems with Orbi systems. It's already known that others do have problems and NG IS AWARE of it all ready. In mean time, Doesn't mean we still can try to help out where we can.
Thank you.
- All you’re doing is wasting people’s time.
These devices have defective firmware and the only logical response should be to return them before they are outside of their return window.
