Rbk852 trying to add another satellite

Currently have rbk852. Bought an additional satellite rbs850. It will not sync no matter what I do, try and sync it via the app, router login page or just sync buttons on router and satellite.

Plugged new sateyinto router via ethernet, shows up as attached device. Logged in locally to new satellite via IP found on attached devices and manual updated firmware. Tried a full factory reset of the rbk852. Set up fine, original satellite connected no issues. New one was not found.

Any help greatly appreciated thanks

What happens if you ethernet connect the RBS to the back of the RBR, with all existing RBS turn OFF?

Does the RBS appear on the RBRs web page under connected devices and does it get an IP address?

If it does, see if you can access the RBS web page and update the RBS manually to same version of FW as what is on the existing RBR and RBS.

Thanks for your reply. So I got it to work earlier today.

I did the firmware update before posting original query and tried hardwiring it to the rbr.

In the end I turned off my original RBS. Found it in the attached devices via the router login.net interface. Removed it from the listing. Then synced up the new RBS whilst it was hardwired to the rbr. Synced successfully. Then turned my original RBS back on and it connected back just fine.

Hope this helps someone out there.
