I have an Orbi 850 mesh and for some reason its only producing 90 to 100 mbps wifi and when I hook up a pc directly to the ethernet cable coming from the modem I am getting 750 to 1000mbps.I have done a full factory reset and verified firmware is up to date.Thank you

This is not a setting. When two Ethernet interfaces are connected with a cable, the electronics built into the interfaces determine the highest speed that both interfaces support, in a process known at auto-negotiation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonegotiation There are options on some computers to constrain the Ethernet interface to use only certain speeds, but most users are not aware of them and would not choose to do so even if they were. Thus, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) device and the RBR850 have determined that 100M/Full Duplex is the highest speed that they both support. Most of the time, this is due to a problem with the Ethernet connection, such as The cable itself does not support a higher speed There is a problem with the crimp on one or more of the RJ45 plugs There is a problem with one or more of the RJ45 jacks, such as one of those tiny gold wires being bent or not making a good connection. The easiest way forward is to unplug the cable, visually inspect the RJ45 jacks on each device, and swap in a different Ethernet cable. The length of this cable is so short that almost any modern Ethernet cable will work (Cat5E, Cat6, etc.) There is no harm in purchasing an Ethernet cable with "out of this world" capability. Your choice.

I was able to get to the screen in the for statistics and I see where its only showing wan as 100M Full I have contacted my provider multiple times. Is there a setting that changed or is that showing the speed from the provider?

I changed to a certified cat 6 same results, I then connected my gaming pc and I am getting close to 500

Still an issue with the speed but now it looks like I need to replace the orbi,

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

  I have tried multiple cables as stated before I did switch to a cat 6 cable the router is a Hitron Tech EN221 that was replaced with a new one not reused or furbished. Router is using Firmware Version V7.2.6.31_5.0.24 which stating most current and I did a factory reset still same issue.
  I used two pc's directly connected to the router and getting 500 to 600.
  Looks like this is an issue with Orbi routers.

    v.31 has been well received and users have been posting problems with it. I'd revert to v.21. I ran my 850 on this and is very stable and gets to spec speeds for my 1Gb/50Mbps service.
    
    I'd also try the RBR at a different location, if you have friend or family member that you could try the RBR at there place to see if the problem follows. If it does then you'll know for sure.
    
    Can find possible good used RBRs on amazon, fleabay or shopgoodwill.
