RBR850 WAN stuck on 100m/full
I have owned this router for a while now and for the most part, have not had any issues with it. Lately I've noticed some lagging on certain devices and after doing a speed test on multiple devices, I noticed it seemed capped at 100Mbps. After looking at my modem and the router, I noticed the problem is the modem's ethernet port is stuck at 100M/Full. I've tried doing a reset and new cables with no luck. I also tried going back to previous firmware version as I have had experience where firmware updates have caused issues. Never had this issue before and can't seem to find any help on the net.
Any advice is greatly appreciated as the router is no longer covered under support and I really don't want to go out and buy a new router.....which is probably what support would end up telling me anyways.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Still no luck!!
did you try a cat 6 cable?
Also, did you try connecting a PC directly to your modem to see if its a modem port issue?
- I did…..no change! Also I’m using CAT6 throughout entire house.
You tried directly connecting to the modem?
and it connected at gigabit speeds?
Is the modem right next to the router? Or is it in a different room?
