RBR850 Wifi Drops - Hardwire fine.

I have the Orbii RBR850 system with the Router and 2 satellites and I have been having intermittent problems with WIFI drop outs for a few months now.  I use ATT Fiber 1Gup/1Gdown.   Current Firmware is 4.6.8.2

I have factory reset my Orbii router 3x so far using both "Router" mode and "AP Mode" and still end up with WIFI drops.

My current connection is wire backhaul to both satellites. The devices that are physically connected via Cat5 have absolutely no problems. This issue only impacts devices connecting via wifi. I have 40+ devices that use wifi from cameras to light switches/smart devices and a couple laptops.

Not sure what else to do here. I have used Orbi since it was originally released, after giving up on Linksys at the time.

  • What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Does the front LED turn on WHITE or PINK when this happens?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

CAT5 isn't recommended as its only rated for 100Mpbs. CAT6 is recommended and support 1000mpbs rates.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Traffic Meter and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

What mode is the modem working in? Router or Bridge mode? This already has a built in router and wifi.
