RBS750 intermittent light colors and backhaul connection
I have a RBR750 and RBS750 that I am trying to redeploy in AP mode. The RBR750 is working fine (wifi and ethernet ports) but I can't get the RBS750 to be stable. It is typically showing a magenta front light, independent of the backhaul status (as shown in RBR750 browser admin).
Right now I am seeing a 'good' backhaul status (but it will cycle to 'disconnected'), the Satellite is showing as connected to the Orbi router, both have IP addresses (can log into satellite directly using browser), but the satellite is still magenta.
I have power cycled the satellite and it will eventually show blue for about 30 seconds (sometimes a little longer) but then switch to magenta. I have attempted numerous ways to resync them. I have done a factory reset on the RBS750 (amber blinking power button light, wait 5 min until get solid white front light, do a sync). I have tried both wireless and wired sync. Both firmware shows as latest (and same) version.
My goal is to get the Satellite stable on a wired backhaul connection so I can put it at the other end of the house to extend coverage (wifi won't go through that many walls, although I can't get wifi sync to work now for some reason, even though they were working together before).
That would be a cause. Glad you figured it out.
Yes since the RBR has it's own firewall and would be on a different sub net.
DMZ is to help with a double NAT condition when having two routers on the same line. DMZ just allows all traffic thru the 1st router to pass thru to the 2nd router. And since the 2nd router has a firewall, this allows two routers to be on same line while functioning independently.

Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Firmware is 4.6.14.3
RBR750 is connected to Unify Dream Router using ethernet in AP mode. (RBR750 is working fine).
I have good cables all around (Cat 6 and 5e. Have checked all with tester.)
RBR750 and RBS750 are currently directly connected via ethernet (no switch) with about 10 feet of cable.
And both have PINK front LED?
Does the RBS appear correctly in the RBRs web page under Connected Devices?
