RBS850

Hi,

 

Just bought a new sattelite to add to my network, it just not want to connect to the system. I have tried to update my router, unplugged the system and even put it the whole network back to factory setting. The router finds the other satellite which been in use the whole time, but it cannot find the new satellite. Both satellties are RBS 850. What to do?

  • Hi, Did you use the add satellite feature in the router web browser and press the sync button on the satellite?

    Was this purchased new from Netgear or an authorized retailer?  Netgear offers 90 days of 'complimentary support' with a new purchase.

      Bought it from a retailer, not sure Netgear has customer service in Norway.

        FW has to be same FW of FW on the RBS that's on the RBR. 

         

        Does ethernet connecting the new RBS to the back of the RBR allow it to get an IP address that you might be able to access the new RBS web page long enough to manually update the FW on the new RBS?
