RBSE960 Satellites not attached to RBRE960 Router
About a month ago my Orbi RBSE960 satellites (2) no longer show as attached to the Orbi RBRE960 router. I’ve had this system for about 2 years. The firmware on the router is up to date. The satellites are working when I connect to them via Ethernet. I’ve reset them with the 15 second push (with a needle) on the reset button on the back of the satellite. Once it came to a solid white light I synced the first one to the router. It said sync successful but does not show attached still. The light goes from blinking white to solid blue and then turns off as it’s supposed to. The satellite just simply will not show up on the network or as attached. It’s very strange. Please help 🙏🏻
- Thank you FURRYe38! All firmware was the most recent. I was able to factory reset the router and both satellites. Rebooted the ISP modem and let it come back up. Connected the Orbi router to the modem. Setup a “new” Orbi system with just the router. Once the router was successfully up and running, I added each satellite back one at a time. Everything is up and the satellites are reflected as part of the network, both online and in the app. I appreciate you replying!

What FW version do you have loaded on the RBR and RBS?
Was the FW on the RBS updated first, then the RBR lastly?
Are you first wirelessly syncing them to the RBR, while in same room as the RBR or near the RBR?
Are the RBS ethernet connected normally or wirelessly connected normally?

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
