Hi, thanks for your reply. My router and satellites are running version 4.6.9.11_2.3.5. I'm not updating because the system works fine for months, so to speak. I only have to restart it a few times. The 2.4GHz Wi-Fi has the 20/40MHz option enabled, and I've never disabled it. Isn't there a way to use only 20MHz? I don't know exactly how far apart the satellites are. My router is in the study on the first floor, the first satellite is on the middle floor, and the second satellite is in the basement. When I restart, the two satellites always have the blue LED. I read that you had a similar problem. How did you solve it? Thanks.
What channels are you using?
Distance in between the RBR and the RBS and each other? in Feet.
It's up to devices to pick and choose the channel width. We can only force 40Mhz by unselecting the check box. Checking the box uses both 20 or 40Mhz and depends on signal noise and quality and what the device will pick.
v4 doesn't have IoT support. V7 FW for the 750 series came out with IoT support. I recommend updating:

We can only force 40Mhz by unselecting the check box.
Just want to clarify that the device can connect at either 20 mhz or 40 mhz when the box is unchecked.
What changes is the behavior when the Orbi detects another access point using the 2.4 ghz channels. If the box is checked, it will stop using 40 mhz channels. If the box is unchecked, the orbi continues to them.
I use channels 11 for 2.4GHz and 44 for 5GHz, which I set manually. I don't know the exact distance between the satellites; they're just one on each floor. The Powerwall is outside on the floor where the Orbi router is located. I haven't updated the firmware because it's working fine now, and I'm afraid it might cause problems.

Distance could be at play here. If RBR and RBS are too close, then wifi signal overlap in between the RBR and RBS maybe causing fluctuations in signal thus causing the device to ping pong around and not able to stay locked on to one signal.
Might try turning OFF one of the RBS and see if this helps keep the device connected to one or the other signals...
