Turn off SSID broadcast - CBR750/RBS750
How do I turn off SSID broadcast on the CBR750/RBS750? There does not seem to be an entry on any of the (Basic or Advanced) wireless menus.
What a BS answer! Let the customer decide if they want to hide it or not.. what concern is it to you if you believe it’s really secure or not. Security by obscurity still works as first line of defense!

The original Orbi product has allowed disabling SSID since 2016 ( and still does in v2.7.3.22). One might infer that newer Orbi models wold inherit the same code base. I was totally surprised that Netgear dropped telnet access in this new version. I am not looking forward to the search for my next WiFi system. Thankfully, it will be at least 2-3 years before I own any device that suports WiFi 6 or 6E.
Hidden SSID was never inlcuded in Orbi AX systems. I asked about it. Crickets back then.
