Reboot daily?
Hi all
i hope you can help.
I bought the AS42000 in Nov, it passed Netgear’s support period.
For the past 1week, I need to reboot the AS42000 daily. The red light on and no connection with my Rogers router. After reboot them, it works around 24 hours then it false again.
Approx 1 week ago, I started to use a PC laptop and use the cable connected with the satellite hug. Now I only use WiFi for that, but the reboot still happening.
please let me know what can I do next?
much appreciate

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

As you realize, this is totally unacceptable, unexpected behavior. My aging RBR50 Orbi has remained "up" for 108 days on Spectrum cable internet.
Could you do me a big favor and report what your router shows on the web administration Advanced Tab, when clicking on the blue box "Connection Status" inside the Internet box? Looking for the values of:
Lease Obtained
Lease Expires
Would be fascinating if the router loses connection about the time the lease is due to expire.
Thanks

Don't know if this applies to your model.
I just had this issue with my RBR850. Here is what happened and how I fixed it.
#1 cable outside my house was cut by lawn mower.
#2 2 days later cable company ran a new line to my house. Internet was back up and things were great. Then we noticed that now the router was rebooting on its own about every 2 or 3 hours. I tried everything to try and fix, update firmware, reset router, tried all suggestions on here.
The thing that ended up working was this. I noticed that the routers time seemed to be off by a few hours, I changed the time server to googles time server instead of Netgear. Bam instantly the time updated to correct time and the router has been online for 24 hours without rebooting.
