Router RBR760 and CPL
Hello . I have a R760 Router + 2 satellites at home, but the reception is terrible on one of the satellites. I'd like to put CPL plugs between the said satellite and the router. Is there a specific spec to put up with on the router, as it doesn't seem to work for me?

It sounds like you want to use powerline networking for the Orbi backhaul. That won't work well, the performance of powerline isn't adequate.
People fortunate to live in a house that has cable TV coax running throughout may be able to use Multimedia over CoAxial cable (MoCA)

Before installing Powerline, I had the Orbi connected over MoCA for several years and found it to be fast and reliable. I found the coax adapter to be "in the way" and changed to Powerline. (There have been many times when I need to reset the Powerline adapters and think, "why the heck did I change?")
I have connected devices to my Orbi router using Powerline adapters. None of the equipment (router, satellite, devices, etc.) have any idea that Powerline is in use. All they see is that an Ethernet cable is connected on both ends.
Powerline is a complicated subject. One issue is that Powerline is not "Full Duplex" like a regular Ethernet connection. The maximum connection speed also depends on
- The actual wire distance the signal must travel. (speeds falls off dramatically with distance)
- Whether the connection is on a single electric circuit or goes through a circuit breaker box
- The physical condition of the electrical wiring
In general, look for Powerline devices with the highest speed rating. I have used TP-Link PA-9020 units for a number of years. The Netgear equivalent is the PLP2000:
https://www.netgear.com/home/wired/powerline/plp2000/It is a good practice to first set up Powerline with the devices (router and satellite) located in the same room plugged into electrical outlets that are on the same circuit. After verifying that the Powerline adapters "work", then relocate the satellite to a remote location.
CPL? Power Line adapters? I believe some have connected RBS with Power Line adapters.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Both RBR and RBS should be on same FW version.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
