Samknows Test not working on RBK853

Around two weeks ago I installed a virgin media 1gb connection with the relatively new Virgin Media Hub 4.
When the Hub 4 was in modem/router mode I was able to complete a real test on samknows.

I then installed a Linksys Velop AX5400 system and switched the hub 4 to modem only mode. I was again able to run samknows tests.

However, unhappy with the Linksys system I have swapped it out for a Orbi AX6000 system with the Hub 4 again in modem only mode. However now I am unable to run the samknows tests as it can not detect my samknows compatible device.

Is there something I can do to solve this please. Thank you greatly.

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?

     

    Be sure to check your CTS  values. If they are at 64, change both to 2347.  Reboot both RBR and wireless devices. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

     

    Disable AX mode and test. 

     

    Check with the Mfr of your device for additional help and information regarding compatibility with Orbi AX. 

     

  • Simple: There is a SDK (closed source - binary code!*) to be implemented on the router - which isn't there, so it can not detect my samknows compatible device. 

     

    Get a so called "Whitebox" Agents | SamKnows if you intend to participate.

     

    *not acceptable in my opinion. Or did you know the Linksys Velop AX5400 has something the like in place?
