Satelitte Confusion
Hi,
I've got a RBR850 setup with two satellites. I had some issues yesterday so needed to restart everything. Things are now running but I have some lingering issues.
On the 'home' screen of my RBR850 it says "Number of satellites: 3"
If I click to look at the attached devices, I can see two satellites ... only one of which seems to be configured properly:
1 RBS850 Satellite Upstairs 192.168.1.168 Good
2 Orbi Satellite-1 192.168.1.250 Good
You can see it lists two devices, says the connection to both is 'Good' and one of them has the default 192.168.1.250 IP address.
I can't open the admin web page of either of the satellites.
This site can’t be reached
192.168.1.168 refused to connect.

192.168.1.250 took too long to respond.

When I unplug the "downstairs satellite" which isn't showing on the attached devices screen. Nothing changes ... I can still see both the .1.168 and .1.250 devices listed, so I'm not even sure the .250 device is the downstairs one.
Interestingly the downstairs satellite appears to work just fine even though I can't see it through the interface. When you boot it it flashes white for a bit before giving me a solid blue. The PVR which is wired to that satellite works fine and so it must be working even though it's not visible. I've tried resetting it with the button (flashing orange) but that really doesn't seem to do much except restart it.
Is there a way to determine from the command line what satellites are connected maybe? I can enable telnet access to both the main router .1.1 and the upstairs satellite .1.168
Thanks for any help and advice.

You should be able to remove the disconnected satellite in the GUI. And you should also be able to access the satellite via the assigned IP address that shows in the GUI with admin and the proper password. If your password does not work, try the password on the label.

It shows me two connected satellites - one without much info and with a default IP. Neither has the option to remove it.
I rebooted .1.168 and I can now access the web interface. The problem wasn't a password, the satellite GUI had become unresponsive.
Powering off .1.168 showed the 'upstairs satellite' as disconnected, but the .1.250 stayed in the GUI.
The other one, even after rebooting, seems to be connected and passing data ... but is not showing in the .1.1 GUI.
You can't access .1.250

I had exactly the same issue... a factory reset resolved it.
