Satellites not visible after firmware update

History:  my system consist of CBR750 and two satellites RBS750.  The system for the most part has been working fine except for the last few months I have been having some problems with the satellites.  In checking recently I found that my CBR750 had updated its firmware to: V4.6.5.8_2.0.54 and my satellite firmware was listed as (RBS750) V4.6.5.14 not updated.

I have read several posts on the original problem of the updated firmware back in June 2022.  I have also read that the satellites should be updated first before this CBR or you could have problems (which I do).  I believe I was able to update my two satellites to the most current version 4.6.8.5.

After doing this and restarting the system.  I could no longer see my satellites listed.  I have factory reset all units several times and reconfigured the router.

But still my satellites do not show up as attached.  When going through the app to attach the satellites they both do turn blue saying they are attached.  And I tend to believe they are attached.  But I cannot get any information or see that they are attached on the app.

At times, looking at attached devices.  I can see the satellites (with an IP address, and sometimes without).  I have attempted to connect to the devices through their IP addresses but have not been able to do so.

To say that I am frustrated be very much of an understatement.  And after reading many of the threads and trying different things.  I can see why I and others are very frustrated.

I have read in some of the threads that by using the IP address of the satellite I should be able to get into the satellite, but have not been able to do so.  It does at times asked for a username (admin) and password.  I have used the password that is attached to the satellite have tried the password that I use for the app-nothing works.

As I stated earlier, it does appear that the satellites are working (color blue when restarting), but have no idea what is attached to them or if there even working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dale

Thank you for the timely reply, unfortunately I do not understand what you're saying. I think you are saying that I need to downgrade my satellites. I do not understand how to do this. I have tried using the IP address of one of the satellites to log into. I do have a pop-up asking for the username and password each time I put the information in that I believe to be accurate. These boxes go blank. I have no idea how to downgrade the firmware in the satellites. Hopefully you or someone can help. Thank you   Dale

Try admin and password in the box?

If you can get in to the RBS web pages, you can downgrade the RBS using the web pages there. You'll need to download the FW file for the RBS that I linked in this thead and set the .chk file using the web browser...
