Setting up RBK760 in Access Point mode
I am replacing my old Orbi RBR50 (Router + 1 satellite) system with an RBK760 (Router + 2 satellite) system. I'm in the UK and have a Vodafone FTTC broaband connection. The Vodafone Power Hub has no ability to operate in bridge mode and so I have my Orbi RBR50 router set to Access Point mode and connected to the Powerhub by an ethernet cable. Wifi radios are set OFF in the Powerhub and so wifi is provided by the Orbi.
I have been reading the user manual for the RBK760 and the section entitled "Use the router as a WiFi access point only" only describes how to set up the Orbi router as an AP after you set up your Internet connection.
Does this mean I HAVE to go through the Internet connection setup before setting up the Orbi as an access point?
I thought perhaps I could set up the orbi as an access point and then connect it to the Vodafone Power Hub router so has anyone done this?

That should work, but you can easily just connect the WAN port of the 760 to the Power Hub, and connect to the 760 WiFi. Then reconfigure.
The process is the same, the only difference is that the internet connection won't be established if the WAN port isn't connected to your network. So you'd need to ignore the error messages.
