Wifi Congestion Netgear Orbi RBR850 Router/RBS 850 combination

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here knows how to fix this? I have Gig speed fiber from a local compay. I’m in a small town. My wired PC gets around 950 Mbps up and down. My wifi seems weird though. Also, sometimes when I watch streaming apps on my Roku it loads slow. Is this wifi congestion? I can’t think that would be the case on wired devices. My Roku is wired. I have a Calix 803G modem provided by the ISP hooked directly into the Orbi router. Then I have an unmanaged Ethernet switch going in ton one of the ports of the Orbi and then everything else wired is connected to the Ethernet switch.

  • If the Roku is connected to that switch which is in turn connected to the RBR850 router (not a satellite), then WiFi plays no part in how it performs.

Initial loading (the time between selecting "Play" for a video and the video actually beginning to stream) may be a function of which video source is being used.  As I recall, Roku is a platform which supports a large number of 'apps' (such as PrimeVideo, Netflix, BritBox, Disney, etc. etc.)  Correct?  Do all of these apps exhibit the same "loading" behavior?  Do any of them suffer during actual playback?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
